MAXIROBOT

SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

Struttura

This system was built with a self-supporting galvanised steel structure, fixing bolts-made from stainless steel, ABS fairing in thermoformed material with treatments for the protection against atmospheric agents and UV rays. It is composed by a automotive portal installed on rails, washing side groups and top automotives with high pressure nozzles rolling heads. It also has a photocell system, which is able to identify the position of the vehicle during the low-speed movement occurring within the car wash. In addition, the control panel PLC is linked to the photocells and monitors all phases of the washing process.

DOUBLE- ENGINE PULLING PORTAL

The machine is characterised by the presence of two pulling gearmotors, which are synchronized and managed by INVERTER. It runs on specific hot-dip zinc galvanized steel rails with an anti-tilt system. The INVERTER allows to move the portal with a variable speed, which depends on the washing program chosen as well as the size of the vehicle. The SOFT-START-STOP system manages the start and stop phases of the portal in order to preserve the length of the whole washing process.

VERTICAL WASHING GROUP

2 columns, one on the right and another one on the left of the vehicle. They’re installed on sliding tracks with Nylon rollers and Arnite wheels, which is a special self-lubricating plastic material with total absence of bearings. The trucks are moved by gearmotors chains, which are directly managed by the PLC. They position themselves by approaching to the vehicle through specific sensors according to the washing program selected and to the size of the vehicle. The columns include a 180°rotating pneumatic system allowing the high-pressure water jets to be perpendicular to the surface of the vehicle. Each column has trucks with two 3-nozzle high pressure rotating heads moving from the bottom to the top and vice versa. This enables the high pressure water jets to operate all over the surface of the car.

HORIZONTAL WASHING GROUP

A Bar with oil-pressure lifting system with control panel managed by the PLC. It positions itself by approaching to the vehicle through specific sensors according to the washing program selected and to the size of the vehicle. The bar has a 90° rotating pneumatic system that allows the high pressure water jets to be correctly oriented towards the surface of the vehicle.  A truck with two 3-nozzle high pressure rotating heads moving from the right to the left and vice versa. This enables the high pressure water jets to operate all over the surface of the car. During the front and back washing phases, the PLC interacts with the pulling system to slow, stop or invert the direction of the portal in order to ease the nozzles action over the entire surface to be washed.

EMOLLIENT

The system is characterised by an arch with nozzles to distribute a solution made of water and emollient detergent aimed at being spread over the whole surface of the vehicle.  The arch with nozzles is powered by an electronic dosing pump, whose setting can be modified according to the water dilution function required by the chemical product producer. The emollient detergent supply system enabled and managed through the PLC.

HIGH-PRESSURE PUMPS GROUP

VERTICAL WASHING

2 Chassis in hot-dip galvanised steel. Each of them contains 2 groups of high pressure pumps from  60bar 120 l./min’, induction three phase motors from KW 15, straps-traction with pulleys, by-pass valve, pressure gauge and switchgear. They are suitable for the floor-level installation in an indoor ambiance  properly aired. Maximum working pressure 60bar, maximum capacity 240 l./min’. Total power KW30.

HORIZONTAL WASHING

Chassis in hot-dip hot-dip galvanised steel with 1 group of high pressure pumps from  60 bar 60 l./min’, induction three phase motors from KW 15, straps-traction with pulleys, by-pass valve, pressure gauge and switchgear. They are suitable for the floor-level installation in an indoor ambiance  properly aired. Maximum working pressure 60bar, maximum capacity 240 l./min’. Total poweR KW11.

TECHNICAL SECTIONS

Within the columns of the structure placed at the entrance of the machine, it is possible to find 2 sections enriched with doors in shockproof ABS. One of them contains the electrical panel embedded in a protected cabinet, and the  button panel with the emergency button. The other one contains the chemical products tanks, the dosing pumps and the configuration pneumatic devices.

TRAFFIC LIGHT

The entrance of the vehicles is ruled by a traffic light installed on the front side of the machine and linked to the PLC, which manages its functioning.  The green light means that the machine works correctly and that the car wash area is ready to be operative; the red light means either that functional abnormalities are present or that the car wash area is still busy with the washing process of another vehicle.

Switchgear

The general switchgear is built in a dust-proof and airtight stainless steel enclosure, which is placed in the left side column of the portal. The above mentioned switchgear has been realised through the use of high-quality components and it is enriched with a PLC managing all operations and the washing programs, recording the number of car washed and identifying automatically the presence of anomalies or malfunctioning.   The PLC can be configured through a specific button panel characterised by a display set outside the switchgear enclosure. It allows the reading of the data and the messages containing the results of the analysis and it enables the programming of the PLC. The whole electrical supply system has been created according to the CE regulations.

CONTROL PANEL

The consolle with floor pedestal placed at the entrance of the machine allows the management of the manual operations as well as the start of the machine.

WASHING PROGRAMS

It contains electric wires and tubes necessary to supply the system. It can be installed at the floor-level, on the wall or on poles of support from 2 m to be specified when placing the order.

The PLC manages various washing programs, among those:

Vehicles with a tipper: addressed to the washing of the lower part of the vehicle. It inhibits the operativity of the two high-pressure nozzles top side heads with a considerable  water saving.

ANTIFREEZE SYSTEM

With the aim of assuring an effective protection from cold temperatures and consequently from ice formation, the machine is provided with an automatic antifreeze system allowing the blank out of the hydraulic circuits. The person in charge of maintenance of the machine must close the hydraulic circuit and open the compressed air supply circuit. This process will be done through the manual selector that sends signals to the PLC, which starts the blank out cycle of the hydraulic circuit. The operation will be repeated automatically for 5 times within this cycle until the temperature goes back to normal values. Meanwhile, the machine deactivates for safety reasons.  An adequate connection to a compressed air tank will be required.

Optionals

REINFORCED RAILS

In galvanised steel, they replace standard rails. They have been designed to resist to strong mechanical stresses  occurring during the maneuvers of the vehicles while entering/going out of the car wash. They are available from  m. 20.

GUIDE TUBES FOR THE VEHICLES CENTERING

In galvanised steel, they guide the vehicle towards a correct positioning in the car washing system. They are available for car washing systems with rails from   m. 20 and m. 25.

WAX OR AUTO-DRYING AGENT

It integrates the final rinse arch and it mixes water with wax/drying chemical product.  It is composed by an electronic dosing pump, whose configuration can be set according to the percentage of dilution required by the chemical product used.

HEATING OF THE CHEMICAL PRODUCTS

Towel in PVC installed on the portal on the sides of the vertical columns.

They refer to washing programs designed according to the needs of the clients and to the size of the shape of the vehicles.

GENERAL SUPPLY PUMP

3KW 400 l./min’. Useful to supply the system with water coming from the net or from the tanks.

 

AUTOMATIC ANTIFREEZE SYSTEM

An external temperature probe sends an impulse to the PLC, which starts the sequential  blank out cycle of the hydraulic circuit. The operation will be repeated automatically for 5 times within this cycle until the temperature goes back to normal values. Meanwhile, the machine deactivates for safety reasons.   The system activates itself automatically when the detected temperature is inferior to the recommended one. The recommended safety temperature can be set during the test at  2-3°C. An adequate connection to a compressed air tank will be required.  

PASSAGE - LAVA CHASSIS

It represents a car wash characterised by an independent high pressure water system working with the brushes simultaneously.  It is placed at the entrance of the machine and it is guided by the PLC through specific photocells detecting the vehicle. It activates/deactivates automatically. It consists of a bar with high pressure fixed nozzle and  two high pressure rotating heads nozzles placed at the bottom of the bar.  It eliminates the most stubborn dirt and mud, salt and debris from the lower part of the car.  It is powered by a group of pumps with high pressure from 50bar 100 l./min’.  – 9,2KW It includes a Sealed electrical panel and self-supporting frame for the installation at the level of the floor to be positioned in a properly aired indoor ambiance.

ETHERNET WEB CONNECTION ON THE TELEPHONE LINE

Modem for the fixed telephone line with notification of faults, totalisers reading, anomalies notification via SMS / E-MAIL, remote assistance for one year (PC, modem for the office and telephone connection costs are not included).

Modem for GSM with notification of faults, totalisers reading, anomalies notification via SMS / E-MAIL, remote assistance for one year (PC, modem for the office and telephone connection costs are not included).

REMOTE ASSISTANCE

A remote assistance service is provided for an annual fee. In order to enable the service, an ETHERNET WEB connection is required.
