This system has been built with a self-supporting galvanised steel structure, fixing boltsmade from stainless steel, ABS fairing in thermoformed material with treatments for the protection against atmospheric agents. It is composed by two groups of side brushes and another one addressed to the rear of the vehicle. It also has a photocell system, which is able to identify the position of the vehicle during the low-speed movement occurring within the car wash. In addition, the control panel PLC is linked to the photocells and monitors all phases of the washing process.
It is composed by two vertical brushes in polyethylene, which are powered by electric gearmotors installed on arms with pneumatic swing. They work in sequence according to the direction of travel of the vehicle with the aim of cleaning the front and side parts of the car.
It is composed by two vertical brushes in polyethylene, which are powered by electric gearmotors installed on arms with pneumatic swing. They work in sequence according to the direction of travel of the vehicle with the aim of cleaning the front and side parts of the car.
The grip of the brushes to the surface of the vehicle is managed by specific pneumatic regulators, whose adaptations are set during the testing phase of the machine.
Each of the 4 vertical brushes is characterised by an arch with nozzles aimed at distributing water over the vehicle during the washing phase. The nozzles are powered directly either by the net or by a specific supply pump guided by the PLC control panel.
The final rinse occurs through a specific arch with nozzles installed after the 2 groups of vertical brushes at the end of the car wash system.
Within the columns of the structure placed at the entrance of the machine, it is possible to find 2 sections enriched with doors in shockproof ABS. One of them contains the electrical panel embedded in a protected cabinet, and the button panel with the emergency button. The other one contains the chemical products tanks, the dosing pumps and the configuration pneumatic devices.
The entrance of the vehicles is ruled by a traffic light installed on the front side of the machine and linked to the PLC, which manages its functioning. The green light means that the machine works correctly and that the car wash area is ready to be operative; the red light means either that functional abnormalities are present or that the car wash area is still busy with the washing process of another vehicle.
The general switchgear is built in a dust-proof and airtight stainless steel enclosure, which is placed in the left side column of the portal. The above mentioned switchgear has been realised through the use of high-quality components and it is enriched with a PLC managing all operations and the washing programs, recording the number of car washed and identifying automatically the presence of anomalies or malfunctioning. The PLC can be configured through a specific button panel characterised by a display set outside the switchgear enclosure. It allows the reading of the data and the messages containing the results of the analysis and it enables the programming of the PLC. The whole electrical supply system has been created according to the CE regulations.
The consolle with floor pedestal placed at the entrance of the machine allows the management of the manual operations as well as the start of the machine.
The PLC manages the different washing programs. Among those, it includes a program specifying the suitable procedure to follow in order to avoid damages to the rear view mirrors of the vehicle. The brushes open and close themselves avoiding the contact with the rear view mirrors of all sizes while proceeding with the washing process.
With the aim of assuring an effective protection from cold temperatures and consequently from ice formation, the machine is provided with an automatic antifreeze system allowing the blank out of the hydraulic circuits. The person in charge of maintenance of the machine must close the hydraulic circuit and open the compressed air supply circuit. This process will be done through the manual selector that sends signals to the PLC, which starts the blank out cycle of the hydraulic circuit. The operation will be repeated automatically for 5 times within this cycle until the temperature goes back to normal values. Meanwhile, the machine deactivates for safety reasons. An adequate connection to a compressed air tank will be required.
In case of particularly tall vehicles such as touristic buses, it is possible to adequate the the size of the car wash system by increasing its height according to the measurements required for the washing operations. In order to proceed with these operations it is necessary to send a proper technical documentations regarding the size of the vehicle to be washed.
2,2KW useful to supply the machine with water coming from water distribution nets or from tanks.
An external temperature probe sends an impulse to the PLC, which starts the sequential blank out cycle of the hydraulic circuit. The operation will be repeated automatically for 5 times within this cycle until the temperature goes back to normal values. Meanwhile, the machine deactivates for safety reasons. The system activates itself automatically when the detected temperature is inferior to the recommended one. The recommended safety temperature can be set during the test at 2-3°C. An adequate connection to a compressed air tank will be required.
Upon request, the supply system is doubled to use the recycled water. This operation is highly recommended for machines adopting a lateral Robot wash and/or Lava Chassis.
2,2KW supplies the Recycled water circuit by withdrawing it from the appointed tanks.
This system is connected to the main automatic antifreeze system mentioned in the point 2.4 and it operates by following the same procedures.
It replaces the detergent shampoo and arch with nozzles powered by electronic dosing pump, which can be set according to the percentage of dilution required by the chemical product used. It is placed at the entrance of the car wash system and it distributes over the vehicle the emollient detergent with water. This is particularly recommended for those car wash systems employing a lateral Robot Wash.
It integrates the final rinse arch and it mixes water with wax/drying chemical product. It is composed by an electronic dosing pump, whose configuration can be set according to the percentage of dilution required by the chemical product used. It is supposed to use the arch with rinse nozzles.
Characterised by electrical resistance, which can be manually enabled through the on/off button. It is placed in the chemical products storage section, which can be warmed up until a maximum temperature of 10°C by improving its fluidity and efficacy (especially of the wax). It also serves as antifreeze system.
They refer to washing programs specifically designed for satisfying the requirements of the clients as well as the sizes and shapes of the vehicles. In the specific case of Buses, Trams and Trains, the dimensions and shapes of the vehicles may require specific washing procedures that consequently need customised programs. In addition, it is possible to employ special programs aimed at increasing the productivity per hour of the Passing car wash system.
It represents a car wash characterised by an independent high pressure water system working with the brushes simultaneously. It is placed at the entrance of the machine and it is guided by the PLC through specific photocells detecting the vehicle. It activates/deactivates automatically. It consists of two rotating arms moved by the electric gearmotors with high pressure nozzle and high pressure rotating heads nozzle. It increases the effectiveness of the Passing washing process by operating on the sides of the vehicles until m. 1,50 height and in particular on the wheels. It eliminates the most stubborn dirt and mud, salt and debris. It is powered by a group of pumps with high pressure water from 50bar 100 l./min’.– 9,2KW It includes a Sealed electrical panel and self-supporting frame for the installation at the level of the floor to be positioned in a properly aired indoor ambience.
